In the temporarily occupied Mariupol, Russian occupants are setting up "polling stations" in the yards of civilians to force them to participate in the so-called "early voting in the presidential elections of the Russian Federation"
In the temporarily occupied Mariupol, Russian occupants are setting up "polling stations" in the yards of civilians to allow them to take part in the so-called "early voting in the presidential elections in Russia," the Mariupol City Council reports, according to UNN.
From March 10 to March 14, a farce called "early voting in the presidential elections in Russia" is taking place in Mariupol. Mobile groups of precinct commissions visit residents' homes and set up "polling stations" in their yards
The occupiers claim that this form of voting "will avoid crowds at polling stations and reduce the risk of shelling." In reality, this is an opportunity for fraud and forcing people to participate in pseudo-elections, as residents do not want to go to the polls, the city council said.
Even so, the turnout on the first day of early voting in the so-called "dpr" was only 22%. Residents do not want to take part in this propaganda "performance"
Everyone understands that the results are preordained. No one is interested in the real opinion of the residents. the Russians just need a "picture" of the alleged support of Putin by the residents of the occupied territories, the city council added.
The occupiers artificially increase the turnout in the temporarily occupied territories by forcing the Russian Armed Forces personnel to vote.
