Salary arrears to doctors: what the Ministry of Health says

The Minister of Health claims that there are no salary arrears for medical workers. However, earlier there were reports of delays in payments at Shostka Children's Hospital and Lutsk Maternity Hospital.
Salary arrears of healthcare providers are not recorded in reports. This was stated by Health Minister Viktor Lyashko during an hour of questions to the government in the Verkhovna Rada, an UNN correspondent reports.
"Medical service providers do not record wage arrears in their reports..." Lyashko said.

In June of this year, Suspilne reported that the Shostka Children's Hospital was delaying salary payments and planning layoffs.
In April of this year, employees of the Lutsk Maternity Hospital complained about delays in the payment of their salaries.
