The Freedom of Russia Legion, the Russian Volunteer Corps and the Siberian Battalion called on authorities in Belgorod and Kursk regions to speed up the evacuation of civilians and provide additional payments as Putin's troops continue to deploy their units in residential neighborhoods, using civilians as human shields.
The Freedom of Russia Legion, the Russian Volunteer Corps and the Siberian Battalion called on Gladkov and Starovoit to speed up the evacuation of civilians from the Belgorod and Kursk regions. Putin's troops still continue to cover for civilians by stationing their units in the residential sector. This UNN reports with reference to the Legion "Freedom of Russia".
"The Freedom of Russia Legion, the Russian Volunteer Corps and the Siberian Battalion welcome the actions of the authorities of the Belgorod region regarding the evacuation of the local civilian population. We also support the decision of the regional administrations to ban all educational institutions. Similarly, the decision to close all major shopping centers on the territory of the limited military operation was correct," the statement reads.
The Freedom of Russia Legion notes that such events have indeed helped avoid mass civilian casualties, but these steps are still not enough.
"We call on Gladkov and Starovoit to speed up the evacuation of civilians from the Belgorod and Kursk regions and to finally resolve the issue of additional payments in the sector of the limited military operation. Such payments should correspond to similar assistance as in the frontline zone," the statement said.
At the same time, it is reported that Putin's troops are still continuing to shield themselves from civilians by stationing their unit in the residential sector.
"Since the beginning of the limited military operation, the forces of the RDK, LSR and Siberian Battalion have killed 452 Kremlin mercenaries and wounded 784 in the city limits of Belgorod alone," the statement said.
The Freedom of Russia Legion calls on Putin's troops to stop using people as human shields.
"You want to fight, fight like men," the statement said.
