Russia's total losses reached approximately 1,479,300 military personnel. Over the past day, 1,555 drones and 1,230 occupiers were destroyed.

As of August 25, 2026, Russia’s total combat losses since February 24, 2022, amount to approximately 1,479,300 military personnel. Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders eliminated another 1,230 Russian servicemen. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, UNN writes.

Also over the past day, the Russian army lost nine armored combat vehicles, 48 artillery systems, two multiple-launch rocket systems, and one air defense system. In addition, 10 ground robotic systems, 1,555 operational-tactical unmanned aerial vehicles, 448 vehicles and fuel trucks, and seven units of special equipment were destroyed or damaged.
Overall, since the beginning of the war, Russian forces, according to the General Staff, have lost 12,293 tanks, 25,220 armored combat vehicles, 48,567 artillery systems, 2,058 multiple-launch rocket systems, 1,587 air defense systems, 440 aircraft, and 354 helicopters.
In addition, Russia’s losses amount to 479,882 operational-tactical UAVs, 5,052 cruise missiles, 35 ships and boats, two submarines, 139,221 vehicles, and 4,582 units of special equipment.
