The Center for Countering Disinformation has noticed attempts by russian propaganda to discredit the appearance of F-16s in Ukraine. UNN writes about this with reference to the report of the Center for Countering Information.
Details
russian propagandists are reported to be spreading several theses among their audience. Among them are the following:
- "The arrival of the F-16 will not affect the course of hostilities"
- "F-16s will bring Ukraine more problems than benefits and will become easy prey for russian air defense"
- "russia will take revenge on Ukraine for the F-16 by destroying several energy facilities"
- "The appearance of the F-16 is just a PR campaign. The planes will not take an active part in combat"
In addition, russian propagandists are actively spreading the words of chechen leader ramzan kadyrov: "The plane will arrive, fire a missile, be shot down, and that's it - salaam alaikum".
By spreading these statements, the kremlin is trying to downplay the importance of Western aid, which will actually make life more difficult for the occupiers
