Russia is planning to destabilize Ukraine through hybrid subversive campaigns, according to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.
Russia considers it necessary to destroy unity within Ukraine. To do this, it plans to conduct several hybrid subversive campaigns, promoting its narratives. This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, UNN reports.
Details
"Analysts close to the Kremlin have prepared proposals to the top military and political leadership of the aggressor state of Russia for a "more effective" continuation of the war against Ukraine in 2024," the DIU reports.
It is noted that one of the key problems for Russia is the public consensus and stability of Ukraine, despite the alleged emergence of internal political contradictions.
"There are no protests [in Ukraine]. And there won't be any," the Kremlin think tanks sadly state," the DIU emphasizes.
Russia plans to conduct several hybrid subversive campaigns, including:
- discrediting the mobilization process;
- promoting a large-scale outflow of people from Ukraine;
- inspiration of splits on a regional basis.
"Proposed narratives: "The southeast is fighting for the interests of the Banderites"; "Galicia would have joined the EU long ago without separatists"; "In Kyiv, they don't mobilize - everyone is walking and having fun," the intelligence notes.
At the same time, the so-called Kremlin "analysts" believe that there are no political forces left in Ukraine capable of changing the vector of the state's development, and the number of those who once were sympathetic to the "Russian world" has fallen dramatically.
