Kyiv • UNN
Russia has launched "propaganda trains" painted with militaristic prints glorifying military service and weapons to agitate people in the regions to join the army amid declining numbers of people willing to serve due to the ongoing war against Ukraine.
In the Russian regions, "agitation trains" began to run, which are painted with militaristic prints, glorifying military service, Russian weapons and equipment in order to stop the decline in the number of people willing to join the army. In this way, they are trying to influence the population to join the ranks of the occupation army. This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate, according to UNN.
Details
The aggressor state of Russia is scaling up campaign activities in the regions to stop the decline in the number of people willing to serve in the army. Representatives of the Russian regime in the regions have been demanded by the Kremlin to fulfill the spring conscription plan and prevent its disruption, as a decrease in the number of conscripts will mean a decrease in the number of people willing to sign a contract with the Russian army, which continues its genocidal war against Ukraine and occupation of our territories
It is noted that the information influence on the population in the regions of Russia includes glorification of the military and spreading the narrative that conscription guarantees non-participation in hostilities against Ukraine.
Among other things, the Russian railroad is being used for propaganda: passenger train and train cars are being painted with militaristic prints glorifying military service, Russian weapons and equipment. Thus, Putin's Russia is actually copying the methods of Bolshevik agitprop of a century ago with its "agitprop trains
