The Russian government has allowed the production, import and sale of Euro-2, Euro-3 and Euro-4 gasoline until July 1, 2027. Information about the environmental class of fuel at gas stations will be available to enable citizens to make informed choices.

The decision allowing certain oil refineries to produce Euro-5 class gasoline and diesel fuel with Euro-3 specifications has expired.
Information about the environmental class of gasoline at gas stations will be available and clearly displayed, the Ministry of Energy stated.
"This will allow citizens to make an informed choice when purchasing fuel of a particular environmental class (Euro-2, Euro-3, Euro-4, Euro-5)," the ministry added.
