Russia has deployed more than 7,000 DPRK soldiers to the border with Ukraine on 28 military transport boards. The soldiers were armed with mortars, assault rifles, machine guns, and other weapons.

Russia has deployed more than 7,000 DPRK soldiers closer to the border with Ukraine, arming them with "infantry-style" mortars, assault rifles, machine guns and other weapons. This was reported on Saturday by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, UNN reports.

In the last week of October 2024, the aggressor state of Russia moved more than 7 thousand DPRK army soldiers from the coastal region of Russia to areas near Ukraine

According to intelligence reports, North Korean troops were moving with the help of at least 28 military transport aircraft of the Russian Federation's air force.

Moscow has armed the DPRK, in particular, with 60mm mortars, AK-12 rifles, RPK/PKM machine guns, sniper rifles  SVD/SVF, Phoenix ATGMs, and RPG-7s. The North Koreans or, as they are called in the Russian occupation army, "special Buryats" were also given some night vision devices, thermal imagers, collimator sights and binoculars

According to intelligence, the DPRK troops, which the aggressor state has decided to use in the war against Ukraine, are being trained at five training grounds in the far east of Russia.
