According to the head of the MVA, the pace of evacuation from the city has increased, with 500-600 people leaving every day. Approximately 60% of people are leaving on their own.

Serhiy Dobryak predicts that this week the city will introduce a forced evacuation of children.

"We had 13,700 children before the full-scale war. Now there are still 4,788 children in the community, that is, a third of them remain... I think we will reach the point this week that we will also have a forced removal of children," Dobryak said.

Local authorities  suggest that given the timing of the Russian army's advance, residents of Pokrovsk have a week or two to evacuate,  and urge people to leave as soon as possible.

Currently, all services and facilities in the city are open. But the head of the MBA assumes that they will soon have to stop working.
