Reform of the medical examination center: referral for medical examination will be available in Reserve+

By the end of February 2025, Ukraine will introduce electronic referrals to the military medical commission through Reserve+. The medical examination will be available at any designated medical facility, and the results will be stored digitally.
Persons liable for military service will not need to visit the TCC to receive a referral for the military qualification examination, it will be possible to receive it electronically through Reserve+, UNN reports with reference to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The relevant mechanism should be developed by the end of February 2025. It is planned that the decisions of the military medical examination will not be submitted to the TCC in paper form, but in electronic form to the information and communication systems of the Ministry of Defense, in particular the Oberig register
“As a result, medical examinations can be carried out in any convenient medical institution listed , and doctors' reports will be stored in digital form with the signatures of responsible persons,” said Kateryna Chernogorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Digitalization.
The purpose of the reform of military medical examination is to increase its efficiency, separate the functions of the MEC and the TEC, avoid queues at territorial recruitment centers and reduce corruption risks.

Due to the restoration work in the state registers , the Ministry of Justice has suspended receiving deferrals in the “Reserve+”. The registers of the Ministry of Defense continue to operate as usual, but there may be delays in processing requests.
