Ruslan Kravchenko, Head of Kyiv RMA, inspected the reconstruction of two high-rise buildings in Vasylkiv damaged by the Russian occupiers. The work is 80% complete, and the buildings are scheduled to be commissioned in the fall of 2024.

In the Kyiv region, the restoration of buildings destroyed by the Russian occupiers continues. The head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Ruslan Kravchenko, inspected the progress of the reconstruction of two high-rise buildings damaged by Russian aggression in Vasylkiv. He wrote about this on Facebook, UNN reports.

These are apartment buildings. We are restoring them at the expense of the Fund for Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression. The customer is Kyiv RMA. I demand quality work and efficient use of funds from contractors. This is also a requirement of the society. We must ensure transparent and fair reconstruction so that those who have lost their property and homes to the occupiers can return to their homes as soon as possible

- said Kravchenko.

The first object is 52 Kyivskyi Shlyakh Ave.

A ten-story building with 120 apartments. More than 200 people lived here.

The restoration started in the fall of 2023. So far, the work has been completed by 80%. We have insulated attics and walls, replaced windows in three entrances, and puttyed the first entrance. The works are ongoing - the loggias and the basement are being insulated, and 2 more entrances are being putty.

“I talked to the residents of the house. They had some comments about the windows in the attics. I instructed them to promptly collect all complaints and constantly communicate with people. All work is carried out in accordance with the developed design and estimate documentation. This is constantly monitored by technical supervision. If the contractor has any deviations from the project, the acts are not closed, no money is paid until all the shortcomings are corrected. And residents should know this,” Ruslan Kravchenko emphasized.

The second facility is located at 46 Kyivskyi Shlyakh Ave.

A five-story building with 60 apartments is being overhauled. Before the war, 120 people lived here.

Restoration began in the fall of 2023. The work is 80% complete: walls were reinforced, partitions replaced, and balconies repaired. Windows and doors were also replaced, two entrances were finished, the attic was insulated, and the roof was repaired. Currently, they are completing the insulation of the facade, the basement, the finishing of two more entrances and repairs in a number of apartments.

Both buildings are scheduled to be commissioned this fall.
