New Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Koretskyi made his first international call in office to the IMF, with the sides specifically discussing the expected tranche and agreeing to coordinate steps for financing the state budget of Ukraine for 2027, as he reported on X, writes UNN.
I had my first international phone conversation with the IMF's First Deputy Managing Director Dan Katz. We discussed preparations for the IMF Executive Board meeting on the first review of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program for Ukraine, which, as the Fund confirmed, will take place on July 20
The Prime Minister emphasized that "approval of the first review by the IMF Executive Board should bring Ukraine the next tranche of international assistance in the amount of 690 million US dollars."

"I thanked the IMF for its consistent support of Ukraine. The Fund continues to play a key role in coordinating international financial assistance to our country. We also agreed to coordinate further steps to ensure financing of the state budget of Ukraine for 2027," Koretskyi reported.
