President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan signed a decree on August 2 reappointing Nikol Pashinyan as the country's Prime Minister. The corresponding decree was published on the head of state's website, reports UNN.

In accordance with Article 149, Part 1 of the Constitution: appoint Nikol Pashinyan to the position of Prime Minister

 - the text of the decree reads.

At the same time, the Armenian service of "Radio Free Europe" reported that the "Civil Contract" party nominated its leader Nikol Pashinyan for the position of Prime Minister.

According to the Constitution, the president must immediately appoint as Prime Minister the candidate proposed by the parliamentary majority after the start of the term of the newly elected National Assembly
