Over the past two days, more than 800 explosions have occurred in Sumy region due to Russian shelling. There are casualties and damage to infrastructure.
The Russian military has significantly increased the number of shelling of populated areas in Sumy region. Over the past two days alone, more than 800 explosions have been heard in the region. This was stated on Thursday by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration Volodymyr Artyukh during a telethon, UNN reports.
Over the past two weeks, there have been more than 800 explosions using various types of weapons. First of all, the number of times the enemy used guided aerial bombs, including cluster bombs, increased tenfold
The head of the JMA noted that such a number of explosions had been heard in the region before in six months and now "almost in two days."
He also noted that the enemy has remotely mined a number of settlements with the help of aviation, and demining works are underway.
"Unfortunately, we are suffering losses. Over the last two days alone, more than 15 people were wounded, three were killed," Artyukh said.

On March 14, the Russian military struck radio facilities in Sumy region. As a result of the damage, part of the territory of Sumy region cannot receive Ukrainian television and radio signals. There were interruptions in mobile communications.
