Russian attacks in Ukraine have damaged more than 250,000 buildings and require more than $500 billion to rebuild. More than 65,000 civilians are missing and 1.5 million children are under occupation.
More than 250,000 buildings have been damaged or destroyed by Russian attacks in Ukraine. Ukraine needs more than $500 billion for reconstruction and this figure is growing every day. This was stated by Dmytro Lubinets, the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, during the international human rights conference “Decade 2014-2024. Winning back human rights. Preserving Democracy”, UNN reports .

In addition, Lubinets said that more than 65,000 civilians are considered missing under special circumstances and illegally deprived of their personal liberty as a result of Russian aggression.
“More than a million and a half Ukrainian children are under Russian occupation. Russia recognizes that 700,000 Ukrainian children were 'evacuated', i.e. deported, abducted,” Lubinets said.
