The OnlyFans platform pays taxes in Ukraine, but Ukrainian content creators cannot legally tax their income. In 2020-2022, more than 5000 Ukrainians earned more than $120 million on the platform.

The platform with adult content OnlyFans pays taxes in Ukraine itself, but this is currently impossible for "Ukrainian actors," although there are more than 5,000 of them who have earned more than $120 million in just three years, said MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, who co-authored a new version of the bill on decriminalizing porn, UNN reports.

"Yesterday we introduced a bill to decriminalize porn. Strangely enough, it is also about taxes. You've probably already read that the tax authorities have data, for example, on OnlyFans, on the income of Ukrainians for 2020-2022. And in theory, it can easily calculate taxes. For your understanding, we are talking about more than 5000 people who collectively received over these years: 2020: about $8 million in income; 2021: more than $35 million in income; 2022: almost $80 million in income. I think the trend over the years is clear," Zheleznyak wrote on Telegram.

He emphasized that "OnlyFans already pays taxes in Ukraine.

"But 'Ukrainian actors' - even if these people would like to pay taxes, it is impossible. This is now a de facto guilty plea. I hope this is a sufficient argument for those who for some reason still believe that it is not the right time to remove this medieval norm," Zheleznyak said.
