Russian troops use chemical weapons in Kherson, using K-51 grenades against Ukrainian forces in violation of the Chemical Weapons Convention.
The 810th Brigade of the Marine Brigade of the Russian Black Sea Fleet has confirmed that it deliberately chemical weapons against Ukrainian troops in Krynky on the left bank of the Kherson region to drive Ukrainian forces out of their positions. This is stated in the report of the of the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), UNN reports .

Analysis by analysis by military experts shows that on December 22, the 810th Separate Marine Corps Brigade of the Russian Federation announced a "radical change in tactics" that the brigade is using against Ukrainian troops in Krynky.
The post claimed that units of the marine brigade are using a new tactic of "dropping K-51 grenades from drones" on Ukrainian positions to drive Ukrainian forces from their positions and expose them to fire from various weapons.
It is noted that the occupiers published footage that apparently shows such a drop of K-51 on a Ukrainian position, presumably in Krynky.
The K-51 aerosol grenades are filled with irritant CS gas, a type of tear gas used to control mass riots. The Chemical Weapons Convention prohibits the use of RCA as a method of warfare, and Russia has been a state party to the Convention since 1997,
