On April 7, the Russian army shelled 11 settlements in Sumy region, resulting in 173 explosions and one person injured.

On April 7, the Russian army shelled 11 communities in Sumy region. There were 40 attacks. 173 explosions were recorded. Khotyn, Miropil, Bilopil, Vorozhbiansk, Krasnopil, Velykopysariv, Putivl, Shalyhyne, Esman, Znob-Novgorod and Seredyno-Bud communities were shelled. This was reported by the regional military administration, UNN reports.

In Miropilska community there were mortar attacks (15 explosions) and artillery shelling (14 explosions). One person was injured as a result of the shelling.

Russian troops shelled Khotynska community with artillery and mortars (17 explosions).

Mortars were used to fire at Shalyhinska community (4 explosions) and Znob-Novhorodska community (5 explosions).

Mortar shelling (9 explosions), artillery shelling (4 explosions) and a helicopter air strike (4 missiles launched) were carried out on Esmanska community

Drones dropped explosives in Krasnopilska community (11 explosions), artillery shelling (4 explosions) and mortar shelling (6 explosions).

A kamikaze FPV drone attack (1 explosion), mortar shelling (19 explosions) and artillery shelling (12 explosions) were carried out on Seredina-Budska community.

Kamikaze FPV drone attacks (4 explosions), shelling from multiple rocket launchers (6 explosions), artillery (15 explosions) and grenade launchers (8 explosions) were recorded on the territory of Bilopilska community.

In Vorozhbyanska community there was a shelling from a tank (8 explosions).

The Russian army shelled the territory of Velykopysarivska community with artillery (2 explosions), mortars (4 explosions) and dropped explosives from a drone (1 explosion).

Three mines were dropped by the Russian army on the territory of Putivl community.
