Four people were injured as a result of a massive Russian missile attack on Kyiv region. Fires broke out and there is damage in 6 settlements in the region.

As of 9:30 a.m., four people have been reported injured in Kyiv region as a result of a massive missile attack by Russian troops this morning, fires broke out at the sites of the falling debris and destruction was reported in four districts of the region. This was reported by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Ruslan Kravchenko, UNN reports

According to him, during the morning massive missile attack in Kyiv region, air defense forces were actively working. There were no hits to residential or critical infrastructure.

"There are victims of the falling debris. As of 9:30 a.m., we know about 4 people. Injuries of various kinds - cut wounds of the limbs, abrasions, eye and face injuries," Kravchenko wrote on Facebook.

According to Kravchenko, one of the victims was hospitalized.

According to him, as a result of the enemy attack, fires broke out and there are destructions in 4 districts of the region. Damage of varying degrees was recorded in 6 settlements.

It is already known about the damage to more than 40 private residential buildings, 2 multi-storey buildings, and 12 cars. Damage to private homes varies from broken windows to complete destruction of buildings. Windows, balconies, and doors were smashed in high-rise buildings

- said Kravchenko.

According to him, a lyceum in one of the settlements was also damaged, with windows smashed.

In addition, power lines were reportedly damaged. The power supply should be restored by noon, the head of the regional administration assured. 

Earlier, two people were reported injured in Kyiv region due to a morning attack by Russian proxies.
