Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal has said that there is currently no need to mobilize 500,000 Ukrainians into the armed forces.

At the moment there is no need to mobilize 500 thousand Ukrainians in the ranks of the troops. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmygal in an interview with Bloomberg Television in Brussels, reports UNN.

Details

According to Bloomberg, a mobilization bill submitted amid a military request to draft up to 500,000 troops has stalled in the Ukrainian parliament.

Schmygal said the assessment showed that scale was not necessary given the rotations taking place on the front lines and the incoming weapons.

"We will continue the fight if we have support from our partners in artillery shells, in long- and medium-range missiles," Shmygal said.
