No blackout schedules are planned for today. More than 19,000 subscribers in three regions were cut off from electricity supply as a result of enemy shelling, the Energy Ministry reported on Saturday, UNN reported.
Generation and consumption
"No electricity restrictions are planned for consumers today," the Energy Ministry said.
The ministry reminded that after the scheduled repair and refueling of nuclear fuel, another nuclear unit was connected to the power system, which will add 1000 MW of capacity. "This will increase the stability of the power system and avoid power supply restrictions for consumers," the ministry said.
At the same time, Ukrainians were urged to continue to use electricity sparingly and rationally, especially during the evening peak hours of consumption - from 17:00 to 22:00.
Consequences of shelling
Central region: a rocket attack damaged the territory of a power facility.
Eastern region: equipment at one of the substations was damaged after a nighttime hostile attack.
South-eastern region: the air line was partially damaged as a result of hostilities.
Networks status
Western region: an overhead line was disconnected due to technological disruptions. The power supply has been restored.
Emergencies
Ternopil region: A 58-year-old electrician in the operation of distribution networks was electrocuted while climbing a pole to cut a wire.
Power outage for consumers
Over the past day, power engineers restored power to 12,269 consumers cut off from the grid as a result of the hostilities.
In total, 528 settlements remain without power supply as of this morning due to the hostilities and technical violations.
As a result of hostile shelling, more than 19,000 subscribers in three regions were cut off from electricity.
Situation at ZNPP
"The water level in the cooling pond is 14.61 meters. This is enough to meet the needs of the plant," the Ministry of Energy said.

For the current day, imports from Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, and Moldova are forecast to reach a maximum capacity of 1001 MW in some hours.
