NATO Admiral Bauer on mobilization in Ukraine: new soldiers are needed
Kyiv • UNN
According to NATO Admiral Rob Bauer, Ukraine needs new soldiers to compensate for losses in the army due to deaths and injuries, in addition to continued military assistance from NATO.
Chairman of the NATO Military Committee Rob Bauer said that Ukraine needs not only military support, but also new soldiers to compensate for losses in the army. He said this during the 16th annual Kyiv Security Forum, reports UNN.
You now know that war is about everyone. It's about people, not about new grenades, armored personnel carriers and new tanks. You need and we need new soldiers. Soldiers die, get wounded, and then we talk about conscription
The admiral noted that he understands that it is not easy to convince people, but it is necessary.
"I see that changes are taking place," he added.
Addendum
Rob Bauer also noted that last year the world was too optimistic about the war in Ukraine, and in 2024 this mistake should not be repeated. Ukraine needs even more support now.
