More than 170 combat engagements took place and 6,700 drones were launched — General Staff on the situation at the front

Overall, since the beginning of this day, 172 combat engagements have taken place at the front. The enemy launched 6,700 drones and dropped 219 guided aerial bombs, and is actively operating in the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka directions, UNN reports, citing the General Staff’s update.

The aggressor carried out 75 airstrikes using 219 guided aerial bombs, deployed 6,751 kamikaze drones for the attacks, and carried out 1,939 shellings of the positions of our troops and populated areas 

In the North Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, four combat engagements have taken place since the beginning of the day; the enemy carried out 54 shellings of the positions of our troops and populated areas.

During the day, in the South Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units 11 times toward the settlements of Izbytske, Radkivka, Kovalivka, Okhrimivka, and Mytrofanivka. Two of these assault actions are ongoing.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy conducted no offensive operations. 

Four attempts by the invaders to advance were repelled in the Lyman direction toward the settlements of Lyman, Shyikivka, Cherneshchyna, and Novoselivka. One of these attacks is ongoing.

In the Sloviansk direction, the Defense Forces halted eight attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas of the settlements of Kryva Luka, Pyskunivka, and Mykolaivka. The battle continues.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russian invaders carried out four offensive actions toward Yurkivka and Nykonorivka and in the area of Nykyforivka.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, the Defense Forces repelled 20 enemy assaults in the areas of the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Novoselivka, Novomykolaivka, Shakhove, Sofiivka, Vilne, and toward the settlement of Dolha Balka. One combat engagement is ongoing.

The enemy carried out 23 attacks in the Pokrovsk direction. The occupiers attempted to advance in the areas of the settlements of Bilytske, Udachne, Muravka, Novopidhorodne, and toward the settlements of Hannivka, Novyi Donbas, Svitle, Shevchenko, Vasylivka, and Serhiivka. Two combat engagements are still ongoing.

According to preliminary estimates, 35 occupiers were eliminated here today and 14 wounded; one tank, six vehicles, three artillery systems, one fuel and lubricants depot, one ammunition depot, and 27 shelters for enemy personnel were destroyed. Two vehicles, five guns, and 98 shelters for enemy personnel were damaged. A total of 416 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or suppressed.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy carried out three attacks in the areas of Novyi Zaporizhzhia, Maliivka, and Yalta.

In the Hulyaipole direction, the Defense Forces repelled three enemy attacks toward the settlement of Tsvitkove.

In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders halted two attempts by the enemy to advance in the areas of Plavni and Mali Shcherbaky. One of them is still ongoing.

In the Prydniprovske direction, the enemy conducted no offensive operations.

There were no significant changes in the situation in the other directions, the General Staff concluded.
