Eight Ukrainians were evacuated from Gaza to Egypt, and a total of 259 people were evacuated with the help of various countries.

Eight Ukrainian citizens have been transferred from the Gaza Strip to Egypt over the past 24 hours, and 26 citizens have been taken by charter flight from Egypt to Moldova. This was reported to UNN by Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleg Nikolenko.

"During this day, 8 Ukrainian citizens were taken from Gaza to Egypt, and 26 citizens were taken by charter flight from Egypt to Moldova today. Our diplomats assisted them in moving to Ukraine. In total, during the first stage of evacuation, Ukraine managed to evacuate 259 people from Gaza

  - said Nikolenko. 

He noted that Ukraine is grateful to Egypt, Israel, Qatar and other partners for their support."The efforts of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry to help citizens in the Gaza Strip are under the special control of Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba," Nikolenko added.

On November 2, Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine Michael Brodsky reported that more than 300 Ukrainian citizens are in the Gaza Strip and would like to leave, but are being prevented by Hamas.
