Konotop under massive "Shahed" attack, infrastructure damaged – mayor

The city of Konotop in the Sumy region was under attack by Russian strike drones for almost the entire night. This was reported by Mayor Artem Semenikhin on Telegram, according to UNN.

According to him, the strikes resulted in damage to the tram network, residential buildings, administrative buildings, and the central district hospital. Consequently, transport movement in the city has been temporarily suspended.

He also warned of the continued threat of strikes.

According to him, some of the drones may be under direct control and preparing for a simultaneous attack.

Semenikhin urged residents not to stay outside while air defense is active.
