The US President stated his readiness to wait for an acceptable deal with Tehran without resuming military operations. Trump plans to maintain the economic blockade.

President Donald Trump said on Monday that Iran has not yet notified the U.S. of a suspension of talks, but hinted that he has no problem waiting on Tehran until it agrees to an acceptable deal, UNN reports citing CNN.
"I think we talk too much, if you want to know the truth. I think silence would be very good," he told NBC News in a telephone interview.
He said this development does not mean the U.S. will resume full-scale military operations.
"It doesn't mean we're going to start dropping bombs there," he told NBC. "We're just going to be quiet. We'll keep the blockade. The blockade is a piece of steel."
Trump, who insisted he felt no pressure to reach a deal quickly, claimed he had leverage over Tehran.
"I think I can wait as long as I want," he said.
