The Russian city of Kursk has begun installing reinforced concrete shelters in crowded places. It is planned to equip 60 bus stops in Kursk, 10 in Zaliznogorsk and several in Kurchatovo.

Today, on August 22, the installation of reinforced concrete shelters began in the Russian city of Kursk . The structures will appear in places of mass gathering of people, said the acting governor of the Kursk region Alexei Smirnov, reports UNN

Details

It is planned to equip 60 main bus stop pavilions with such shelters. Another 10 structures will be installed in Zaliznyorsk.  

In addition, it is reported that several shelters will appear in the chicken coop.

On August 20 , Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky announced the advance of Ukrainian troops by 28-35 km deep into the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. 1263 square kilometers of territory and 93 settlements were liberated.

On August 21, the Pentagon reported that the United States had spotted a small number of Russian forces moving into the Kursk region. However, the Pentagon spokesperson did not specify which Russian forces were moving to this area.
