Ukrzaliznytsia has released a video of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's arrival in Ukraine. This is the first ever visit of an Indian prime minister to Ukraine.
Ukrzaliznytsia showed a video of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arriving in Ukraine by train. The video was published by the press service of UZ on Telegram, UNN reports.
For the first time in the history of bilateral relations between our countries, the Prime Minister of India personally visited Ukraine. Before his visit to Kyiv on the Ukrzaliznytsia train, Narendra Modi called India a "friend and partner" of Ukraine and expressed hope for "a speedy restoration of peace" and deepening of "India-Ukraine friendship."
Earlier, the arrival of the Indian Prime Minister was confirmed by the Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak.
"Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to Ukraine," Yermak wrote on Telegram.
Narendra Modi has arrived in Kyiv for a scheduled meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The visit follows a two-day stay in Poland.
