On Friday, the central government informed the Supreme Court that up to 10 Indians who traveled to Russia have died in the war against Ukraine. The Center also stated that most of them fought as part of Russian troops based on voluntary contracts
It is indicated that a total of 215 Indians may have gone to the war against Ukraine, but only the families of 26 individuals have approached the court.
Also
Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha responded to information about Russians recruiting foreign citizens to participate in the war. In particular, he urged the governments of African countries to "resolutely counter illegal recruitment rather than asking Moscow for favors".
