According to the Ministry of Culture, 2,109 cultural infrastructure facilities were damaged by the war, 368 of which were completely destroyed. Clubs and libraries have suffered the most.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion in Ukraine, 2109 cultural infrastructure facilities have been damaged or destroyed. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications, UNN reports .

As of October 25, 2024, 2,109 cultural infrastructure facilities, excluding cultural heritage sites, suffered damage. Of these, 368 were destroyed (17.45%). In general, cultural infrastructure suffered the greatest losses and damage in Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Luhansk regions,

In general, they suffered:

  • club establishments - 1018;
  • libraries - 750;
  • art education institutions - 163;
  • museums and galleries - 120;
  • theaters, cinemas and philharmonic societies - 38;
  • nature reserves - 7;
  • parks, zoos - 9;
  • circuses - 4.
