In Ukraine, it is now allowed to change the basis for deferment from mobilization without losing the current status

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted changes that allow conscripts to re-register an existing deferment on another legal basis without losing its validity during the review of the application. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, as reported by UNN.

A conscript can re-register an existing deferment on another legal basis without losing it during the processing period: the relevant changes were adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine

- the statement reads.

For example, a person has a deferment due to studies, but they have a third child. While the application is being reviewed, the old deferment continues to be valid, so the person will not be mobilized during this period. According to the ministry, if the new basis is confirmed, the old deferment will only cease after the new one is entered into the Oberih register. At the same time, if it is refused, the old one will continue to be valid until the end of its term.

An application for granting or re-registering a deferment can be submitted through the Administrative Services Center (TsNAP) using Diia — it must be reviewed within 7 working days, and if additional checks are needed, within a maximum of 15. After approval, the new data must be entered into Oberih within one day

Recall

The Ministry of Defense reported that deferments from mobilization are automatically extended for 22 categories of citizens. In case of errors in the registers, you need to contact the TsNAP.
