In Ternopil, an inspector of the Educational Security Service discovered a polyethylene bag with a powdery substance similar to a psychotropic substance in a 15-year-old schoolgirl. A criminal proceeding has been initiated on this fact.

The incident occurred in one of the schools in Ternopil. The inspector of the Educational Security Service received information that one of the students of the educational institution probably keeps prohibited substances
It is noted that during the inspection, the police officer found a polyethylene bag with a powdery substance that looked like a psychotropic substance in a 15-year-old girl. The investigative team seized the material evidence, which was sent for appropriate expert examinations.
Police investigators have launched criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 309 (Illegal storage, transportation or transfer of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues without the purpose of sale) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine

The sanction of the article provides for a penalty in the form of a fine of up to three thousand non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens or correctional labor for a term of up to two years. Probationary supervision for a term of up to five years or restriction of liberty for the same term may also be carried out.
