In the Kamianets-Podilskyi district of Khmelnytskyi region, police and rescuers are working at the scene of an accident involving a tourist bus that drove into a ditch and overturned. Dozens of passengers were inside the bus; the number of injured is being clarified. This was reported by the Khmelnytskyi police, writes UNN.
The traffic accident occurred today, June 23, at approximately 4:40 p.m. on the N-03 highway near the village of Shatava, Makiv community
It is noted that the 46-year-old driver, while driving a tourist bus on the route "Kyiv — Burgas (Bulgaria)," lost control and drove off the road into a ditch, subsequently overturning.
There were 54 passengers and a relief driver in the bus salon. The number of injured persons is being determined.
Law enforcement officers and rescuers continue to work at the scene. The issue of opening criminal proceedings under Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is being decided.
