"In Rivne, a minor was injured under the wheels of a minibus," police said.
The taxi driver himself reported to the police about the accident, which occurred today, July 19, at 12:40 on Dvoretska Street.
The investigator found that a 25-year-old resident of Rivne, the driver of a Bogdan vehicle, hit a 14-year-old resident of the regional center who was crossing the roadway on a bicycle on a regulated pedestrian crossing. Previously, the driver of the minibus was running a yellow traffic light.
The minor has been diagnosed with a fractured collarbone. However, he is still undergoing additional examination.
The bus driver was sober.
The pre-trial investigation was initiated under Part 1 Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The investigative actions are ongoing.
