Police in Horishni Plavni reportedly received a report from a local resident that her minor son had been injured by a group of people in the basement of a residential building in Horishni Plavni.
As reported online, a video of the incident was posted on social media.
According to the police, the injured man was examined by doctors. He is currently undergoing treatment.
The police reportedly identified the persons involved in the offense. "They were local minors," the police said.
The criminal proceedings over the incident are being investigated under Part 2 of Article 296 (hooliganism committed by a group of persons) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The sanction of the article provides for restriction of liberty for up to five years or imprisonment for up to four years.
