In the Bolhrad district of Odesa Oblast, the court sentenced a 48-year-old man to 10 years' imprisonment after finding him guilty of raping a 15-year-old girl. The district prosecutor's office supported the prosecution in the case. The Office of the Prosecutor General reports this, writes UNN.

According to the investigation, the incident occurred in June last year on a pasture near one of the villages. The girl was grazing cattle when the man, in a state of alcohol intoxication, attacked her and committed the crime.
Court decision
The court found the man guilty and imposed a sentence of 10 years' imprisonment. Until the verdict enters into legal force, he will remain in custody.
The prosecutor's office noted that the guilt was confirmed by the results of forensic examinations and the victim's testimony.
