
HJC dismissed OASK judge Mazur for disciplinary misconduct

The High Council of Justice decided to dismiss Alona Mazur from the position of judge of the OASK. The decision was made on the basis of paragraph 3 of Article 126 of the Constitution of Ukraine, namely for a disciplinary offense.
The High Council of Justice dismissed Aliona Mazur from the post of judge of the already liquidated District Administrative Court of the city of Kyiv for committing a significant disciplinary offense.

On March 20, 2025, the High Council of Justice decided to dismiss Mazur Aliona Serhiyivna from the position of judge of the District Administrative Court of the city of Kyiv on the basis of paragraph 3 of part six of Article 126 of the Constitution of Ukraine
It is noted that paragraph 3 of part six of Article 126 of the Constitution of Ukraine stipulates that the grounds for dismissal of a judge are the commission of a significant disciplinary offense, gross or systematic neglect of duties, which is incompatible with the status of a judge or revealed his inconsistency with the position held.

As reported by the NABU press service, based on the results of consideration of the NABU's disciplinary complaint, the High Council of Justice dismissed the former judge of the liquidated District Administrative Court of the city of Kyiv.
The submission was based on materials of criminal proceedings regarding the infamous records with the participation of the head of the OASK, who was also dismissed from the post of judge the other day. In addition, the HCJ is considering complaints regarding more than ten former judges of the OASK.
In June 2022, NABU and SAP sent to court a case against 11 people on the facts of committing actions with the aim of conspiracy to seize state power, obstructing the work of the High Qualification Commission of Judges, as well as participating in a criminal organization and abuse of influence by the head and judges of the District Administrative Court of Kyiv in collusion with a number of other persons.
According to the investigation, the mentioned persons acted within the criminal organization headed by the head of the OASK, which had the goal of seizing state power by establishing control over the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, the High Council of Justice and creating artificial obstacles in their work.
