U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris will spend Election Day at her alma mater and at a family dinner. She will also connect with voters through radio interviews and encourage them to vote.
Before the election night party, Vice President and current U.S. presidential candidate Kamala Harris will spend the day mobilizing voters in the swing state through radio interviews before attending a family dinner she called a tradition, reports UNN citing CNN.
“I'll be at my alma mater, Howard University,” Harris said during an interview Tuesday morning on ‘The Big K Morning Show with Larry Richert’ radio show in Pittsburgh.
“Before that, I have a tradition of having dinner with my family, and that's what we're going to do. We have a lot of my family members visiting. And during the day, I'll be, all day today, talking to people and reminding them to get out to vote,” Harris added.
Harris urged Pittsburgh voters to go to the polls, saying: “I would urge everyone to just remember that in our democracy, people make the decisions and your vote is your strength.
