Government transfers management of 26 Firtash's regional gas companies to ARMA

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a decree to transfer management of 26 of Firtash's regional gas companies to ARMA. This became possible after the Pechersk Court re-seized the companies' shares on June 28, 2024.
The government has approved a decree to transfer the management of 26 gas distribution system operators that were part of Dmytro Firtash's Regional Gas Company to the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA). UNN reports this with reference to the ARMA press service.
At the initiative of ARMA, the Government has adopted a decree on the management of 26 Firtash's regional gas companies by the agency. The relevant Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine was adopted today, August 20

On June 25, the High Anti-Corruption Court canceled the seizure of shares in former regional gas companies.
The Asset Recovery and Management Agency appealed to the Prosecutor General's Office to re-seize them. After that, on June 28, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv issued a new decision re-arresting shares of gas distribution system operators that were part of Dmytro Firtash's Regional Gas Company.
