Government approves draft law on Ukraine's withdrawal from the CIS transit agreement

The Ukrainian government has approved a bill to withdraw from the Agreement on Transit through the Territories of the Commonwealth of Independent States in connection with Russia's full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine.
The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to withdraw from the Agreement on transit through the territories of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States - the relevant draft law has been approved. UNN writes with reference to Taras Melnychuk, a government representative in the Verkhovna Rada, in Telegram.
According to the post, the draft law "On Withdrawal from the Agreement on the Procedure for Transit through the Territories of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States" was approved.
The draft law provides for Ukraine's withdrawal from the Agreement on the Procedure for Transit through the Territories of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States in connection with the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine: participation in the aggression of the Republic of Belarus. This completely violates the principles and norms of international law, signed on June 4, 1999 in Minsk and ratified by the Law of Ukraine of February 22, 2001 N 2283-III.
