Four helicopters and two airplanes of Crimean businessmen transferred to ARMA - SBI

The SBI handed over to the ARMA 4 Mi-2 helicopters and 2 AN-2 airplanes belonging to Crimean businessmen suspected of financing Russian aggression. After the aircraft fleet is sold, the funds will be used to purchase military bonds.
Four Mi-2 helicopters and two AN-2 airplanes have been transferred to the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA). The aircraft belonged to Crimean businessmen who were exposed for financing Russia's armed aggression, the State Bureau of Investigation said, UNN reports .

In January 2024, the SBI served a notice of suspicion of financing actions committed to change the borders of Ukraine (Part 3 of Article 110-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) to 9 entrepreneurs registered in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea engaged in recreational and agricultural business. They were engaged in business in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and paid taxes to the aggressor country, financing the armed aggression of the Russian Federation
The investigation established that the defendants owned helicopters and airplanes on the controlled territory of Ukraine. To prevent their re-registration to fictitious persons, the court arrested them at the request of the prosecutor.
Law enforcers emphasized that after the sale of the aircraft fleet, the funds will be used to purchase domestic government bonds "Military Bonds".
