Ford Super Mustang Mach-E electric car becomes the fastest at Goodwood

This year, various cars took part in the hill climb at the festival, from classic racing cars to modern hypercars, and the 10 fastest cars were far from ordinary. These machines are designed for competition.
Closing out the top ten is the Toyota-Judd Formula Supra driven by Ryan Tuerck. He posted a time of 49.02 seconds. The Dodge Viper GTS-R was slightly faster, followed by the Nissan 300ZX Turbo. Travis Pastrana took a spot in the middle of the pack behind the wheel of his Subaru Brataroo 9500 Turbo.
The two fastest cars this year were electric vehicles, with the first place taken by a heavily modified Ford Super Mustang Mach-E. It was about half a second faster than the second car, a fourth-generation Formula E.
The Mustang was 4.33 seconds faster than the fastest internal combustion engine car, surpassing the Ford SuperVan 4.2, which ran the course a few years ago. But it still lagged behind the fastest car ever to run in competition. That honor went to the fully electric McMurty Spéirling, which completed the climb in 39.08 seconds.
