The EU will continue to support Ukraine, despite Hungary's objections, by considering alternative plans without Budapest. However, Germany emphasized that securing financial support in the EU budget remains a priority for its government.
The European Union will continue to support Ukraine, despite opposition from Hungary's opposition. Other member states of the bloc can act even without Budapest. This was announced by a spokesman for the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, according to the Handelsblatt, according to UNN.
For us as the federal government, it is clear that the fund for Ukraine remains the best and most sustainable solution from our point of view,

The speaker emphasized that even without Hungary's support, the other 26 EU countries could take the necessary measures. However, he refrained from commenting on specific steps in this direction.
As the publication notes, information from other sources also indicates development of an alternative plan, which may include an intergovernmental agreement between the 26 EU members without Hungary's participation, or guarantees from these countries for loans from the the European Commission.
