Two Ukrainian film festivals, the Odesa International Film Festival and the Kyiv International Short Film Festival, received grants from the EU's Creative Europe program.

Two Ukrainian film festivals have received grants from the EU's Creative Europe program. This was reported by the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, UNN reports.

A total of 145 applications from 33 countries were submitted to the competition, and 95 projects from 31 countries were supported. Two well-known film festivals from Ukraine won:

According to the Cultural Ministry, European grants were awarded to: Odesa International Film Festival and Kyiv International Short Film Festival.

The Odesa Author's Film Festival was founded to provide access to high-quality films for a wide audience in Ukraine, to support the continuous growth of the Ukrainian film industry and to increase film literacy.

OIFF (Odesa International Film Festival - ed.) is the largest film event in Ukraine and one of the largest in Eastern Europe by the number of visitors

Kyiv International Short Film Festival is the largest short film festival in Ukraine. It takes place annually in the capital and is dedicated to screening short films from all over the world.

In addition to film screenings, it hosts open discussions, master classes, and other special events, bringing together filmmakers, professionals, and film fans.
