On March 19, the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Charge d'Affaires of russia to inform them about the declaration of a russian embassy employee with diplomatic status as persona non grata. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that the declared undesirable employee must leave the country.
The ministry said that Estonia does not intend to tolerate russia's actions against the country's independence and sovereignty. In particular, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that russian special services are coordinating hybrid operations against the Republic of Estonia and called for an end to such operations aimed at the security of the Republic of Estonia.
Estonia is discussing this issue with partners and allies and is ready to take additional measures to protect our society and our values if necessary
