"Today, on December 23, starting from 14:10, emergency blackouts were forced in several regions of Ukraine. The reason for the temporary restrictions is the need to immediately replace equipment damaged by shelling and the loss of certain generating capacities," Ukrenergo said.
"As soon as the work is completed, the restrictions for household consumers will be canceled. The estimated time of completion is by 17:00," the NPC said.
Ukrenergo said it is taking all necessary measures to restore the energy infrastructure facilities damaged and destroyed by the Russians.
And they urged not to turn on several powerful appliances at the same time if you have light now.
