Due to the high electricity consumption caused by the heat wave, emergency power outages were introduced on July 15 in certain areas of Kharkiv region to avoid overloading the regional power grids.

The company emphasizes that emergency outages occur only in certain parts of the region.
In some districts of Kharkiv region, emergency power outages have been introduced in the oblenergo networks. In other districts of the region, there are planned outage schedules
It is noted that such a decision was made to avoid overloading the networks of regional power companies.

According to NPC Ukrenergo, electricity consumption has reached a maximum due to the heat, and blackout schedules are in effect throughout the day, with more blackouts starting at 4 p.m.
There will be fewer electricity imports, as the heat wave has affected consumption in neighboring countries as well.
