Ukraine is experiencing a power shortage due to increased consumption and severe weather conditions, forcing Ukrenergo to call for savings until 18:00. Power plants are unable to meet demand as renewable energy sources are not working properly and thermal power plants are partially out of commission.
Ukrenergo said that Ukraine has recorded a deficit in the power system due to the growth of electricity consumption. Ukrainians were asked to conserve electricity to conserve electricity throughout the day until 18:00, UNN reports .
