The education for veterans platform offers 1,200 educational programs from institutions all over Ukraine. The minister of Education spoke about the most popular professions and opportunities for training veterans.
About 1,200 educational opportunities are already available on the education for veterans platform, and their number is constantly growing. This was stated by the minister of education and science Oksen Lisovoy on the air of the telethon, reports UNN.
Our platform contains up-to-date information from the Ministry of economy of Ukraine, the Employment Service on popular professions for 2024, and is projected until 2027. This will help them navigate the real needs of the labor market, if they are not yet sure in which direction they would like to choose a profession for themselves
According to the minister of education, there is a great demand for defense workers, but there are also many requests in civilian professions.
"There are many vacancies for drivers, transport repair specialists, specialists in healthcare, Applied Sciences, Engineering, Construction..Currently, there are 1,200 long-term and short-term programs offered by educational institutions throughout Ukraine on the platform. This list will be updated, and any educational institution will be able to register its program and add it. This can be done in a few simple steps," Lesnoy said.
He noted that most institutions have the necessary conditions to ensure equal access to veterans ' education, and this was one of the criteria that the Ministry of education and science set for educational institutions that added their own programs

In the Kiev Region, 8 veterans hubs are being created to reintegrate and support veterans and their families. The project provides for consultations, mentoring programs, an entrepreneurship school and employment assistance.
